Design notes on Techniques

1st Dot:

Adds or subtracts dots in one of the following combinations.

(1) 3 Normal Areas
(2) 1 Superior 2 Normal Areas
(3) 2 Superior Areas

Adds and subtracts based off a pre-existing condition.

"Normal Areas" = Called shots, qing gong, skills, initiative, speed, added effect dice, stat boosts that do not affect secondary stats. Also includes "half-adds" to superior areas.

"Superior Areas" = Attack, Defence, stats that add to secondard stats.

2nd Dot:

Conditional Power

Upon acheiving an exceptional condition (enemy botch on attack or 5 successes on attack) special power is activated. Also includes normal conditions initiating a contested roll.

3rd Dot:

1st Unconditional Power

First Power - activated with cost (Willpower, health levels, drops defence etc) or "always active" but situational (eg, only on attack, only on defence).

4th Dot:

Unconditional Dice Add:

1 Superior or 2 Inferior Adds to dice roll. Active all the time.

5th Dot:

2nd Unconditional Power:

Definitive style technique. No further notes available at the time.
